Belgrave Lighting Ltd ("we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through belgravelighting.co.uk and in the course of our work, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.

Belgrave Lighting Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17017642, with its registered office at 10 Queens Road, Blackhill, Consett, DH8 0BH. What we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us:

Enquiry and request forms. Name, company, email address, phone number, and the details of your project, session request or document request.
Email and phone contact. The contact details and correspondence you send us directly.
Business relationships. Contact details of clients, designers, suppliers and other project contacts, held for the purposes of the work we do together.

We do not collect special category data and our website is not directed at children.

How we use it

To respond to your enquiry and provide the information or session you asked for.
To carry out and manage lighting projects, including quotations, design development and delivery.
To keep in touch about our services where you would reasonably expect us to, for example following an enquiry or a meeting. Every marketing email we send includes a way to opt out.
To meet legal and accounting obligations.

Our lawful bases are the performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in running and promoting the business, and legal obligation. We never sell your information.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only where needed to run the business: our email, website hosting and form-handling providers, our accountants and professional advisers, and, on a live project, the project team you would expect us to coordinate with. Anyone processing data on our behalf does so under contract and on our instructions.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within two years. Project and client records are kept for six years after the end of the relationship to meet legal and accounting requirements, then deleted.

Cookies

Our website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Any cookies used are strictly necessary for the site to function.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict our use of it, and to data portability. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
